Ignite Your Inner Fire THIS August 2021
HELLO AUGUST! You’re finally here! We’ve been waiting tirelessly to feel this shift from the “Testing Times” of July into the “Peacock Times” of August (yes, that’s what they’re calling them!). I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to take a break from the watery shadow work and get loud and proud this fire season!
In July, your tummy may have been hurting because of all the internal work/shadows that needed surfacing. In August, we finally see the rainbow after the wild storm of the past few months, and get up and start living more. As a collective, we’re waking up out of a spell where we won't want to give our energy into our fears. Limiting beliefs are now being realized and being thrown out, and it’s time to focus on who we are and our purpose here. What is it that makes you unique? What ignite’s your fire? What makes you truly shine?
Brace yourself because August is kicking off with Pluto, the planet of transformation; Saturn, the planet of structure; Jupiter, the planet of expansion; and Neptune, the planet of illusions, all in retrograde. When planets are in retrograde, we’re encouraged to reflect on the areas of our lives that each planet influences. With Pluto retrograde especially, the most growth can occur when you look at how far you’ve come. Take advantage of this time of true personal transformation.
What Does August Look Like If You Are A Leo?
You’re feeling revitalized and in a cheerful mood because it’s your season and your time to truly shine! Reconnect with yourself and to stand strongly for what you believe in. August can bring you a boost of personal popularity. This month is also strong for financial initiatives and ideas, especially during the Lion’s Gate portal on 8/8 and the new moon. It's best to make resolutions around this day and then wait a few days for new beginnings. You’ll be getting a lot of attention, sometimes unexpected, in the first three weeks of the month, after which you tend to settle quite nicely into usual routines. Your personality is shining, and you project quite a bit of strength this month. It's a time of potentially significant realizations and clarifications.
What Does This Mean For You If You’re Not A Leo?
Leo is represented by the lion, and these fiery signs are the kings and queens of the jungle. They’re vivacious, theatrical, bold, brave, passionate, and love to bask in the spotlight and celebrate themselves. These lions are natural leaders and they enjoy friendships and romances that are artistically and creatively inspired.
Leo is ruled by the sun, the body that governs life and vitality. The sun never goes retrograde, and likewise, Leos are renowned for their stability, loyalty, and consistency. They are dedicated friends and lovers who put their hearts into every relationship. It’s important for these lions to remember that their light is never obscured by others, and the bright shine of others' success does nothing to their own.

Host a party or a small get together. Leos are all about being the best hostest with the mostest and want to make sure their guests are having the best time.
Refuse to “act your age”. Tap into the child within. Get some coloring books, grab the roller blades, go for a bike ride, etc..
Bask in the power of “owning it.” Be confident and proud of who you are.

August 2- Venus Trine Uranus
Venus trines Uranus and is a harmonious alignment, indicating that we may find love in the most unexpected of places. This energy is also wonderful for our relationships, and a time to enjoy the company of those that we love.
August 6- Sun Square Uranus
We may feel out of balance or flustered by some information that comes our way. Whatever unfolds is likely to be short-lived, so wait for the dust to settle, and you should start feeling much more clearer and empowered.
August 8- Leo New Moon + Lionsgate Portal 88
This is one of the most magical days of the month and brings some high-frequency energy our way. While high-frequency energy can be used for manifestation, healing, and spiritual work, we may have to be mindful of allowing this high-frequency energy to tip us into states of anxiety or heightened emotions.
Use the energy of this day to be gentle with yourself, to practice self-care, and to set intentions for the months to come. In fact, this is a power day for intention setting, so be sure to take the time to set some goals or write down some affirmations for yourself.
August 15- Venus in Libra
Venus moves into one of its ruling signs. This is a power day for Venus energy, and we may find ourselves coming into harmony or balance with relationship matters. We can also use this energy to bring more love, beauty, and money into our lives.
August 19- Uranus Retrograde
Uranus enters retrograde in the sign of Taurus, where it will remain until January 18, 2022. We may receive deeper insights or revelations about events that have been unfolding since the start of 2021. Uranus can also bring sudden change or surprise, so we may notice some of this manifesting in our lives around this time too.
August 22- Full Moon in Aquarius
This Full Moon carries expansive energy that can help boost our mood and allow us to feel connected to something bigger than just ourselves. Jupiter is very active at the time of this Full Moon. Jupiter can bring abundance, prosperity, and even bouts of luck! But it can also shine a bright spotlight on issues that need addressing in our lives. Trust that whatever comes up will be dealt with in a soft and gentle way thanks to this energy. This Full Moon is also connected to the Aquarius Full Moon we had back on July 23-24. We may notice repeated themes or perhaps a softening of whatever was brewing for us at that time.
August 22/23- Sun in Virgo
The Sun leaves the fiery sign of Leo and enters the earthy zodiac of Virgo. Virgo is represented by the virgin, but here, virgin refers to a strong independent person that sources from themselves. All of that confident, creative, and bold energy we have been working with during Leo Season allows us to connect with our own personal power and what we are truly capable of achieving.
August 29- Moon Wobble
Moon wobbles can bring extreme weather patterns or weather events. As the name suggests, they can also stir up some wobbly energy making us question or reconsider our direction forward. Whenever the Moon is involved, it’s always a good idea to listen to our intuition and to use our feelings as a compass.
